| Description: |
Beautiful antique photo album. The front & back cover are possibly celluloid, but I am unsure. The front has roses & a little girl. The back is a light green; the spine is velvet green. The pages are cardboard w/gilding on the edges. There are approximately 15 photographs in this book. There are names on some of the photos. The family possibly came from Pennsylvania, as most of the photos were taken by photographers who were based there. Names included are: Martha Elizabeth Jordan Martha Hess Humphrey Ruth Humphfrey Ethel Jordan George Jr. Mary, Luther, Miles, Homer, & Glenn? Zufall (Family portrait). There is another album listed. Item number # 4575221. It has the same family members in it. There is also a POST MORTEM photo listed of Abraham Zunfall item # 4575270. | Condition: | This wonderful antique album is in poor condition, but is a lovely collectible, waiting to be cherished. The book has a lot of wear & tear; there are torn, ripped, stained, missing & loose pages. Some photos may have some rips, tears, discoloring spots, fading or other age issues. The cover has some ripped & bumped corners. The velvet on the spine is fading & only half of the clasp is on the book. This is truly a lovely photo album that perhaps needs a little TLC. Please see pictures. |
