Item Description To tell you the truth, we’re really not sure what to call this. Is it a Cello, Small Bass Violin? It’s about the size of a cello and has the rounded shoulders and swelled back of the violin family but no fine tuning adjustments on the bridge. The tune pegs are not friction but metal worm gears with wood and metal pegs. No frets on the fingerboard (it’s not a viola da gamba), and the bridge is held in place by string tension. No maker marks found anywhere inside or out. If you are unable to view all photos (6 small, 15 large), please email us and we’ll be happy to email them to you. Size Total length 47.5” / Body 29” x 16.5” x 6” deep. Accessories None Function NA Although basic operational tests are done whenever possible, we may not be able to test all items, functions, settings, calibrations, connections, controls and features. Condition The varnish is faded, checked and worn. There are stains and spots on the belly. Several signs of splits and repairs both on the belly and ribs. The neck is cracked at the upper block/nose. The left beak appears to have been replaced. The spike is missing. The fingerboard and scroll show normal wear but no damage. Tail piece and saddle look normal for the age. Additional insurance may be required on items valued over $100.Please allow up to 5 workdays after payment for your item to be shipped.

UPS Shipping rates shown are estimated based on weight, size, packing materials and shipping distance.Shipments can only be sent to the address shown in your ShopGoodwill account.
