The piece is signed by both the Governor at the time, Maurice Tobin, and the artist who created the piece, J.R. Rosen. This item is addressed to Ernest Hoftyzer, who was very active in Boston, Massachusetts during the Depression & FDR years. We also have in another auction a signed President Calvin Coolidge (30th U.S. President) photograph portrait, and also in another auction, a signed Frank Knox (Secretary of The Navy during WWII) photo portrait and original letter, both signed.
