Up for auction is a vintage looking Picador guitar. It is in fair/good condition. There are some chips and scuffs on the body. Measures approximately 40" long.

This is a used musical instrument; it has not been serviced, cleaned or tested for playability.

For sanitary reasons we recommend that all instruments are professionally cleaned / serviced prior to use.

Why does the shipping weight state 30 lbs. or 70 lbs. when the item weighs less than that?

Most major shipping carriers assess additional charges on packages that exceed a certain size (i.e. length x width x height) limit set by the carrier, regardless of the actual package weight, resulting in an Oversize Shipping rate that is calculated using a billable weight larger than the actual package weight. Please note that the weight that appears in the shipper's tracking information may not reflect the billed Oversize rate. LIKE NEW: In perfect unused condition with original packaging. Item (including packaging) is completely free of any blemishes or flaws.
EXCELLENT: May show minimal use and/or minor wear. Exceptionally clean, undamaged with no unwanted marks or odors.
VERY GOOD: Shows light use or wear; minimal damage, nothing which will affect the ability to use the item for its intended purpose.
GOOD: May have noticeable damage but no missing or completely damaged (irreparable) pieces.
FAIR: Completely damaged parts or missing pieces.
POOR: Broken, beat up, ‘junk’ condition; some potentially usable parts.
