Items are normally in used condition & donated to Goodwill of Orange county in order to continue our mission of helping those with disabilities & other barriers achieve a maximum level of independence.

PICK-UP ITEMS:

Pick-up customers MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT through our pick-up scheduling system "BOOKER" in advance of preferred date and time. Please provide Order and/or Item numbers so your items can be pulled and staged accordingly. A scheduled pickup appointment confirmation will be sent to customers when their selected pick-up time has been confirmed. Orders that have paid for shipping will be shipped out & will not be allowed to be picked up.

Items paid for as LOCAL PICKUP, will automatically be made available for pickup no sooner than 2 FULL business days from when payment is received:

Items paid for by 11:59PM on Monday=Available for pick-up at a scheduled appointment on Thursday

Items paid for by 11:59PM on Tuesday=Available for pick-up at a scheduled appointment on Friday

The ONLY exception will be for Tuesday appointments where items can be paid by 11:59PM Sunday evening as appointments will be prepared on Monday mornings due to our closure on weekends.

Due to safety concerns, please do not bring children and/or pets to our facility when picking up your items, only service animals will be permitted into our facility.
Our facility utilizes forklifts and other machinery that must move in and out of the building therefore we are unable to guarantee their safety.
Due to similar safety concerns, unfortunately we are also unable to provide PUBLIC restrooms at this time, please do not ask.
These policies will be strictly enforced.

If you miss your pickup appointment date you may pickup your items on the following Wednesday at 1:00PM. If you cannot pickup your items by the following Wednesday your items will also be considered a donation & relisted without any further notice.
Once an initial appointment has been made all items which have been paid must be retrieved at the time of that scheduled appointment.

Additionally, all pick up items must be retrieved within 30 days from the date payment was recorded. All items not retrieved within this time frame will be considered a donation without further notice.

All items must be paid in advance online by credit card through Visa or MasterCard.
NO PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE TIME OF PICK-UP.

Buyers may also arrange their own pick-up/package/delivery service for large and "Pick-Up Only" items, however the carrier must assume all responsibility for the item & must be able to pick it up, pack, and ship it.

SHIPPING:

Items generally ship within 5 business days
(not including weekends/holidays) after payment clears

We default ship FedEx/UPS & follow their packaging guidelines. Due to the odd dimensions of certain items, FedEx/UPS may charge more for shipping oversize items & calculate that into shipping weight as a "dimensional weight." Any special requests for alternate packaging arrangements may incur an additional handling fee charge to be paid before shipment.

Items can only be combined prior to payment being received.
Paid for items will be shipped as specified within the order and will not be able to be modified or combined.

Items may be combined for shipping when the following criteria are present:
1. The items are from the same selling Goodwill.
2. The items close within the same week.
3. You have not already paid for any of the items.
4. The combined weight does not exceed 20 pounds.
5. Items are not already in a fixed price flat rate shipping box.

If your auction items meet the above criteria, the site will prompt automatically to combine all available orders during the payment process.
If not please open a support ticket or give us a call and we will do our best to combine shipping. Qualifying media items (books w/o advertising, CDs, DVDs) may ship at Media Mail Rate. Media-Mail items can be combined with non-Media items at the higher shipping cost of Priority Mail. Parcel Select shipping & Flat Rate boxes are available upon request. If you would like items sent Parcel Select or Media Mail, that option takes longer & is less secure. We cannot guarantee tracking information or delivery time availability or accuracy from the USPS website for Parcel Select & Media Mail due to the way USPS handles those packages.

Return Policy: All items are sold AS-IS and are non-refundable. The only exceptions are in the case of damage during shipment or gross misrepresentation. Any return must have prior approval from Goodwill Industries of Orange County. A request for return must be submitted within 5 days of receipt of purchase. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable.
