Joseph John Engelhart (18671915) was a prolific American landscape painter who painted in realist style. He was born on June 14, 1867 in Chicago, Illinois, and died on April 14, 1915 in Oakland, California. He is noted for his documentation of America's Northwest Frontier at the turn of the 20th century, and for his oil paintings of landmarks such as Yosemite Valley, Mount Hood and Crater Lake. - askart.com

Frame: 82" x 52" x 2"
Image: 78" x 48"

Condition:

All over craquelure (crazing of paint), some pigment loss throughout, two puncture in upper right (1"x1") and lower right quadrants (.5" x .5"), 6 spots of wood frame cracked off and missing, two raised parts on base of canvas, paint ran down from canvas to wooden frame, scuffs and smudges on artworks as well as framwork. Discoloration due to aging, slight water damage visible on painting.

USPS is responsible for the final delivery with this service. A mail receptacle is required at the customers ship to address for such orders. Payment:
Auctions are easily and securely paid online with any Visa or Mastercard. We cannot accept cash, checks or money orders. Paypal is not accepted at this time. Residents of Washington State will be required to pay Washington State sales tax on any items.

Shipping via UPS:
Orders posted on weekends ship on Monday. UPS cannot ship to a PO BOX, unless an order meets the eligibility requirements for UPS Mail Innovations(see above). Shipping costs are based on distance and weight of items. Please contact us for Hawaii and Alaska shipping rates.

Combined Shipping:
Items may be combined to save on shipping charges if they close within 7 days of each other and are safe to ship in one box. Once paid for, items may not be combined. We reserve the right to deny combination of items. Handling charges will only be reduced when combining four or more items if you contact us after you have created the order for the adjustment. Handling charges are as follows: Each item after the third item will be reduced to a $1 charge per item up to a maximum of $25. All items will be shipped as listed and will not be dismantled for any reason.

Local Pickup Service:
Our pickup/view times are every day of the week between 12pm and 3pm. 24 hour notice is required and payment must be made online prior to pick up. Any items paid for after 7:30am on the day of your appointment will not be available for pick up until the following day. When making a payment please ensure you select the pick up option, or the order may be shipped to you. Items not picked up within 14 days of the end of the auction will no longer be available, even if paid for. We are located at 2920 S.W. 234th Avenue Hillsboro, OR 97123. We do not permit 3rd parties to pick up items from this location. All items must be picked up by the primary account holder only.

Return Policy:
Please contact us for any return within three days of receipt of the item for authorization of the return. All return requests will be considered on a case by case basis. Items are NOT officially appraised, certified or authenticated. All items are sold "AS IS." Bidder is responsible to check for updates to listings. All unauthorized returns will be considered a donation.

Damaged in Shipping:
If the item was damaged during shipment then we will need a photograph of the damage, and a signed statement from the customer prior to refund. Once the returned item is received at our facility a full refund will be issued.

All other returns:
You will be refunded for your item once we have been contacted, a solution has been reached, and we have received back the item in the condition it was sent.

Unclaimed Returns:
If an item is unclaimed or returned by UPS, the customer will be emailed and has 7 days to pay an additional shipping charge to resend the item. If not paid after 7 days, the purchase price minus a restocking fee equal to the original handling charge will be refunded to the customer.
