Here we have this fabulous chess set that appears to be handmade. This is made of lathed wood that has been either painted or varnished, then lacquered. The tops are made of an unknown medium. The board as well as the pieces have some scuffing here and there. This is very nice and detailed. Great addition to the chess players collection.
