Payments:
We accept Visa and Mastercard as forms of payment. All
payment transactions are processed through a secure system. We do not accept Paypal
as a payment method.
Shipping Information:
All paid auctions are shipped within five (5) business days from the date of payment. We utilize multiple shipping companies, and will use the least expensive option. Any overpayment in shipping will be refunded. We provide a shipping calculator for your convenience. For your protection,
we will only ship to the address listed on your ShopGoodwill.com account.
If an item is returned as unclaimed or not deliverable, we will contact the customer at the email address listed on their ShopGoodwill.com account to notify them of the return. The customer will then have seven (7) days to pay additional shipping charges for the item to be resent. If we have not received payment within those seven (7) days, the item will be relisted and prior payment will be considered a charitable contribution.
On-Site Pick-Ups:
On-site pick-up items MUST be paid for in advance. Please contact us at (319) 337-4158
at least 24 hours in advance so we may prepare your items. Pick-up hours are from 8:30 a.m.
through 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except major holidays.
Our pick-up location is 1410 South First Avenue, Iowa City, IA, 52240. Please use the main entrance, and our receptionist will be happy to assist you.
For your protection, we will only release an item to the person named on the ShopGoodwill.com account. If you would like to designate an authorized third party to pick up your item, please let us know when you call.
Items designated for on-site pick-up must be picked up within Fourteen (14) days of the auction closing. Items not picked up within that timeframe will be resold with no further notice, and the payment will be considered a charitable contribution.
All items are sold AS IS and are non-refundable. The only exception is if there is a substantial discrepancy or distortion in the item description. Returns must be requested within five (5) business days of receipt and be approved by Goodwill of the Heartland. Shipping and Handling charges may be refunded at our discretion. Items are NOT officially appraised, certified, or authenticated unless otherwise stated.
If an item is damaged during shipping, we will need a photograph of the damage to the packaging and the item, as well as a signed statement from the customer prior to a refund being issued.
