Description: Ayamanes Quibor Lara Native Venezuelan Polychrome Roadrunner Teapot. Reddish terra cotta clay pottery teapot with hand-painted designs. The spout of the teapot looks like a roadrunner or rooster's head. The painted bird symbols, we believe, are supposed to represent a roadrunner or similar indigenous Venezuelan bird. The painted designs are in white with black and red trim. Incised makerís mark on bottom. Comes with the original lid cover. Sturdy, thick handle with an ear-shaped curve. Broad base is circular with embossed snake designs.
Size: 9.5" long x 6.25" tall
Materials: Ceramic/terra cotta.
Condition: There are a few small spots of paint loss and some dust. No chips or cracks.
